The Scrap Day was held with great style on February 21, 2026, at the Eðalbílar facility at Funahöfði 15 in Reykjavik. Several classic Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles were present, ranging from heavily modified Rovers to classic models. These unique Rovers captured the undivided attention of the guests, as they were both well-made and beautiful cars.
A special guest arrived from Sweden – Niclas Andersson, a board member of the "Swedish Land Rover Club". He showed great interest in the cars and the people he spoke with. Good connections were immediately formed between Island Rover and this Swedish guest, which it is hoped will lead to even more interaction in the future.
Overall, everyone agreed that the day had been a great success in every way. Everyone enjoyed looking at and discussing cars and modifications, and the atmosphere was excellent.
